FAQ: whats included?

FAQ: what’s included in a family session?

answer: i like doing things on the up and up and having everything out in the open. no surprises or stressful wondering.  no confusing “gotchas.”  no being afraid of getting charged more for something you thought was “included.”  just plain and simple.  because while some surprises can be fun and exciting, no one wants surprises when it comes down to what they are paying for.

when i developed my pricing, i kept it as straightforward as possible.  i wanted to avoid having an expansive menu of pricing items with an overwhelming amount of decisions you had to make upfront.  so there is just one pricing option for sessions and here’s the breakdown of whats included:

  • up to 1-1.5 hour shoot, on location
  • photos edited & posted in an online gallery
  • digital copies of final images with print release (this is usually somewhere between 30-40 images)

*why include a product credit instead of specific sized prints?  because print sizes used to paralyze me.  i hated having to try and decide what size print i was going to want before i’d even seen my images.  i didn’t know if my favorites would be portrait or landscape, and so i had no idea what wall to put them up on, what frame to put them in or where they’d look the best because i hadn’t seen them yet.  the $100 is included in the session fee so you don’t need to worry about budgeting for prints later on.

is there a limit on poses or groupings?

no.

can you take a few of each child individually?

of course.

what about me & my husband without the kids?

definitely.

i want to capture everything that i can about your family for you during our time together.

in a nutshell…your session fee includes everything…the shoot, the online viewing, the digital files and the prints, canvases or albums.  at the end of the day,  the only thing you really have to decide upon is when to book your shoot.  the only question now is, what are you waiting for?

have a question you want answered?  great.  send them my way:  jackie@thejumpsite.com and i’ll include them in our next FAQ segment.
